Core Gameplay Loop
Players control a serpent moving across a flat grid. The primary action involves steering the serpent toward glowing points that appear at random locations. Each collected point adds one unit to the serpent's length, which is necessary for reaching farther areas of the field. The serpent cannot stop moving, so every turn must be planned in advance.
Obstacle Navigation
Scattered across the grid are numbered blocks. These blocks are not hazards by themselves, but they become dangerous if the serpent is too short. When a block displays a number larger than the serpent's current length, touching it ends the round. The only safe approach is to eat smaller numbered blocks first, which increases length and allows the serpent to later consume larger ones. This creates a natural progression where players must prioritize which blocks to approach.
Customization Through Stars
Stars appear on the field less frequently than points. Collecting a star adds it to a persistent collection. Once enough stars are gathered, players can unlock new visual skins for the serpent. These skins change the serpent's color and pattern but do not affect gameplay. The system gives a clear long-term goal beyond simply surviving each round.
Difficulty Curve
The game starts with simple layouts and few numbered blocks. As players progress, the grid becomes more crowded, blocks appear with higher numbers, and points spawn in tighter clusters. The serpent also grows faster, making sharp turns more difficult. This gradual increase gives beginners time to learn the controls while still challenging experienced players.
Controls and Accessibility
Players use a mouse or touch input to drag the serpent in the desired direction. The serpent follows the cursor or finger, turning smoothly. There are no buttons or complex menus. The interface is minimal, showing only the current score, serpent length, and star count. This design makes the game easy to pick up for anyone, regardless of age or gaming experience.
Strategic Thinking
Success depends on planning a path that avoids large blocks while collecting enough points to grow. Players must look ahead to see where points and stars are located, then decide the safest route. Sometimes it is better to ignore a nearby point if it leads toward a dangerous block. The game rewards patience and foresight over speed.
